El curso 'Excel Fundamentals for Data Analysis' es una excelente introducción al mundo del análisis de datos utilizando Excel. Está diseñado para principiantes y explica los conceptos de manera clara y práctica. Si bien puede quedarse corto en temas avanzados, cumple perfectamente con su objetivo de sentar las bases para el análisis de datos. Lo recomiendo a quienes quieran mejorar sus habilidades básicas en Excel o empezar a explorar su uso en contextos laborales.

The course was well presented and easy to follow but as it progresses into more complex formulas, I felt like I needed a bit more indepth info to structure my formulas correctly. I was having to google some info as I went... but in saying that I did speed through the course, so give yourself plenty of time to practice the concepts of each week and you will probably find it easier! Overall tough a great course and I look forward to creating some visualisations next.

Me gustó mucho y aunque a veces sufría tratando de conseguir ciertos resultados, estoy muy contenta de haber terminado el curso.

Sin embargo, creo que puede resultar tedioso o frustrante que hayan cosas que no funcionen debido a las distintas configuraciones como lo fueron el uso de puntos en vez de comas para los decimales, o bien, al usar Excel en español, tenía que estar constantemente buscando la equivalencia de las formulas.

This was a really useful course, I learned a lot. I would have given 5 stars however some of the downloads had fields already completed (in the practice documents, not the solutions) and also there's an error in the final question of the final assessment (it should ask for the average for items that DO have a bonus, not the average for those that do not). Otherwise I think this is a great course, and I'd definitely recommend it.

Very good and informative. Good to practice with the assessments. In the final worksheet quiz, some answers didn't match the answers given in the options. When I downloaded and saved this worksheet, it would not let me add columns etc as asked in the questions. Few things were locked like rows etc. Inspite of enabling editing some things were not working in the sheet. But overall had a good learning experience with this course.

The content, assessment and challenges were all well constructed with the right amount of challenge to coax growth and understanding. The lectureres were well spoken and the videos entertaining enough to keep attention. The only thing that I would change would be to have little assignments per lecture in addition to the challenge problem to grow skills and understanding, instead of just a challenge option.

Outstanding detail and updated courseware. I did find that some of the formulas would not work in my excel sheets even when I ensured that I was conducting them correctyl in the excel quiz and Exams. This was specifically a headache when asked to type the number from a specific cell as an answer to a test question. Even though I verified I was using the formula correctly I would still get error messages.

I ventured out of my comfort zone when I started this course. I was pleasantly surprised how well I picked up on the lessons and did on the assignments and quizzes. I put in more hours than what was advertised for the course, but I always expect that when I try to learn to do more with Excel. I now know what I should study next if I’m going to keep learning more about this program.

Great course, gives plenty of tools for solving problems you encounter at work. Too bad some questions seem to be glitchy and there seem to be minor compatibility issues between Excel versions but maybe that's just me. Also, it would have been nice to do extra practice with INDEX and MATCH functions. Otherwise it would have been a perfect experience.

It is a great course, could learn a lot and great spreadsheets for practice.

However, I found some downside too. Some of the spreadsheet broken the formula on older version of excel. Couldn't find solution for the assessment so can't find out what the mistake was. It is easy to find out on some parts but where calculation needs more difficult.

Pros:

The videos were very well done and the practice sheets and quizzes very useful.

Cons:

The forum does not provide enough help. Classmates are either indifferent or afraid to participate. There should be a designated people to oversee the different forums and make sure the questions get answered if the forum is going to be useful.

The course was well-paced and instructed. I found it frustrating that there were a number of concepts that were mentioned but not explained, but were still on the tests. The supplementary resources were not sufficient in teaching this additional concepts either. Otherwise it was a great course for getting started in excel.

Learned so many useful formulas from this course that I am already using at work to automate certain reports and save my colleagues time. I can't wait to see what the rest of the Specialization has to offer. Some of the test questions are broken though and the expected answer is not replicable, which is really frustrating.

I really enjoyed this course, however it was a bit challenging to work on Office 365. In week 5, some of the documents provided just showed errors therefore it was not possible to understand the formulaes. Regardless, I have learnt a lot and use many of the new formulaes in my dat-today work.

Excellent teachers, extremely clear, organized and course well thought out! Five very busy weeks of technical tuition, I just wished that the teachers could have given more examples and more formulas to work with during tuition. Highly recommended class, even for beginners in Excel!

Though it was a very tasking and challenging course, it was also interesting and easy to understand. The videos and quiz sections were very helpful. I am glad to pass the final assessment.

I am looking forward to the next stage which is data visualization in Excel.

I'm not sure if it is my computer but some things does not work just like in the video. In week 5 151 sheet I even tried copying the formula from the solution sheet to the freshly opened practice sheet and the output is not like the one I've seen on the video.

I learned a lot about tables and functions! Sometimes it felt like I was not learning the course material and needed more practice than what was provided. Overall, a really wonderful course to learn more about using Excel for data analysis. :))

Guter Kurs für Basiswissen, 1 Stern Abzug für die katastrophale Formatierung des final assessments. Es hat 4h gedauert, den ständigen Fehlermeldungen der eigentlich richtig eingegebenen Formeln auf die Schliche zu kommen. Bitte beheben!

This is a very solid introductory course to MS Excel since it touches a lot of useful parts of the software but the assessments need to provide better help for those who need more effort to fully grasp the concepts and apply them.

The course was great up until the final exam. The excel spreadsheet that you had to download to answer the questions had multiple prepopulated formula errors that you had to correct yourself in order to get the correct answers.

Very practical, easy to follow. Excel broken down to the most simplest of languages for anyone to follow and easily understand. The assignments and loads of data to work on is valuable. By far the best in my opinion.

This course helped me a lot to learn the excel fundamentals which I haven't so far. I need to workout more exercises to gain experience . By the help of this course I'll be able to workout the data at excel. Thanks.

Overall this was a super solid course. There are a few problems that aren't doable or a few quiz/assessment questions that don't give you the correct answer. But overall, I'm fairly pleased with this course

Some contents of the Course should be updated and corrected (esepcially the final assesment)), but the overall aqcuired knowledge satisfied my expectations and i think i will keep on with the next course
