A very good option for complete beginners but one needs more resources in order to master HTML and CSS as not everything can be covered. I suggest w3schools.com and developer.mozilla.org/en-US/ . There's also htmlreference.io and cssreference.io .

If you're not a complete beginner, you can check frontendmentor.io/resources .

This course was very thorough and explained in a way that is easy to understand. I really appreciated all of the lab exercises that help you get some hands-on experience. And the Additional Resources in each section offered some great supplemental links to expand my learning. Would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this course and it went over all the introductory subjects very well. I learned a lot from this course and it really puts your knowledge to the test by giving you graded assessments and individual labs to work in. It was really fun and I had a great time learning from this course.

This course was an eye-opener to web development in general and to the back-end in particular. Kudos to the lead female instructor and the rest of the Meta staff who helped to put it together. I am glad I took it and I am excited about taking the next course in the professional certificate.

A very good course for sure! I've paid for expensive courses (albeit in a different line of work) that weren't anywhere near as good as this. The slides were great and easy to understand, but most notably, the woman explaining it all did so in a great way and she had a really nice voice.

Excellent intro course! I love how it starts with the foundation knowledge and not just jump immediately to coding. As a teacher, I was very impressed by the length of the videos and readings. Perfect duration to keep learners' attention and straightforward wordings and visuals.

However, knowledge-brought-forward is highly recommended for new entrants. If you have no prior knowledge, you need to make the effort to do extensive research.

This course is exceptional well structured encompassing the basics of backend development. Highly recommend this course for anyone looking to pursue a career in backend development or any other software engineering role.

This course is an overview of Front-End technologies. I believe every back-end developer needs to be familiar to a certain degree with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and React.

This is really a great course for beginners to get started with programming. This course covers some basic yet important topics such as HTML, CSS and responsive websites. You will not regret after taking up this course.

Overall it's a great introduction course to Back-end development. It has enough practice lab, but to learn it solid I'd need to practice more out of this class. Good, a lot of web resources are provided in reading.

Absolutely the best front-end course I have seen so far. Incredibly clear, even though it teachs the most important concepts that even many practitioners do not know so well.

Honestly, it was pretty fun. I love that Meta doesn't hold your hand in the labs, since they already showed you how it's done they just tell you what to do and that is fantastic.
