I am familiar with the methods of carbon capture use and sequestration and Direct Air Capture but was not aware that this was one of, if not the only, practical methods of reducing the impact carbon emissions from the atmosphere. I found the course very informative; Edinburgh University should make a documentary type presentation to explain the facts of fossil fuel use and carbon capture and sequestration to the general public.

The course is quite informative. I could learn a lot, but I also needed to read a lot of on different homepages to fully understand everything. That made it sometimes a bit challenging as I expected to get all information in the course. Many times, links in this course have not been actual anymore and ended up somewhere in nowhere. This should be taken care about. Some quizzes within the modules where numbers needed to be incorporated as results did not work or have not been fit to the numbers provided for calculations - I tried different result and rounded up and down, but every result was incorrect. However, this has been the case for some optional quizzes, may not super important. At the beginning, it was mentioned to use the discussion panel for further learning with other participants. I did not really find that useful. What would be helpful from my perspective to provide a summary sheet by pdf- file containing all the important information and take aways after each module. No matter what, for those who are not familiar with CCS, this course can give many insights and knowledge.

The original lecture starts quite sometimes a go, but the topics got update frequently. Great class to gain knowledge about Carbon Capture, I hope there's part 2 to discuss about Carbon Trading. One of the lecturers have accent, sometimes quite hard to understand what he says. Turn on CC for non-English native speaking will help.
