About the Course

Code and run your first C++ program in minutes without installing anything! This course is designed for learners with no coding experience, providing a solid foundation of not just C++, but core Computer Science topics that can be transferred to other languages. The modules in this course cover printing, operators, iteration (i.e., loops), and selection (i.e., conditionals). To allow for a truly hands-on, self-paced learning experience, this course is video-free. Assignments contain short explanations with images and runnable code examples with suggested edits to explore code examples further, building a deeper understanding by doing. You'll benefit from instant feedback from a variety of assessment items along the way, gently progressing from quick understanding checks (multiple choice, fill in the blank, and un-scrambling code blocks) to small, approachable coding exercises that take minutes instead of hours....

A great hand-on course for beginers to learn C++.Very easy to follow and practice thanks to its online teaching platform. It would be better if some review videos could be added in this courese.

The course jumps from hard things (like loops and arrays) to very simple ones (like data types), however doesn't cover important issues (like limits for data types) and many times does not perform all cases checks in the example code. Turtle examples where the most confusing thing I've seen so far in my studies. The course felt unbalanced: sometime too easy, sometimes way too hard. I didn't enjoy my time in this course.

Hate the structure of this course. I should include that I prefer learning via video and lectures paired with exercises. I found the modules very boring without sufficient explanation of the concepts. Found a better course on Udemy.

Relatively comprehensive. However, some labs and readings leave out important information, and then give you a 'fail' grade if you miss a single detail. Feels like more of a money-grab than a legitimate course.

Good course but learning without videos is hard plus the exercise have a problem that they cant accept the alternative solutions only those which it is programmed to accept .Icant tell how many times I have problem submittingmy solutions. Eventually,I had to go on youtube to learn and I regret asking for financial aid for this course. I wouldn't have taken this course if I knew this would happen. If you are a visual learner or just can't read much ,this course is not for you.

Couldn't even finish the first week because the page/tool used to do the work was extremely buggy and slow. So disappointed.
