This course will test your knowledge and understanding, and provide you with a platform to show off your new abilities in front-end web development using React. During this course, you will be guided through the process of building an app, combining all the skills and technologies you've learned throughout this program to solve the problem at hand. On completion of the Capstone project, you’ll have a job-ready portfolio that you can show to recruiters, demonstrate during interviews and impress potential employers. To complete this course, you will need front-end developer experience. Additionally, it always helps to have a can-do attitude!...

Best Course Module in the Certificate as it's much more practical and relays on Your understanding of the concepts and Trial and Error develops deep understanding of how things are functioning.

It has been an amazing learning journey, I gained a lot of strong skills building the capstone project. This was a good choice.

The explanations were really bad partially. You should implement sth. for instance and in the review you asked yourself if you clicked on the wrong self review, because assignments and review questions were so different. What I liked about it, was, that it dealed with almost everything that seems to matter.

it was comprehensive and detailed project however I was disappointed to see the solution to the capstone, it only showed how the UX/UI design works but no background coding that could help us to learn more about data fetching when a function is involved and how the useReducer hooks works. very disappointing

It was fun to develop a web app for a little lemon restaurant. I gained many new skills and troubleshooted many issues myself. however, a lot of reading resources make this course very long, and the API needs to be fixed, which frustrates the learner.

It's a good and challenging course, but there are some technical problems that aren't negligible, which, in my case, led me to develop innovative solutions that greatly contributed to my learning.

The course (at the moment where I did it) was the only in the series that seemed unfinished.

Lots of the guidelines and instructions don't really make sense.

DO NOT WASTE TIME AND MONEY ON THIS COURSE OR COURSERA! A good project for the portfolio, but appalling course content with no quality control. Out of order content, poor guidance, assessments asking if we have done things that haven't been asked for nor covered in the course before that point, broken content meaning unable to complete the project correctly and having to find workarounds. Then when it gets to the final project peer reviews, after putting all that time and effort into it all, it didn't go into any detail at all only asking for very basic things in the marking criteria. Meta should be embarrassed having their name on the entire Front-End Developer specialisation which has been poor quality throughout. Bad ordering of content, incorrect answers on tests, further reading links behind paywalls, no proof reading, reporting issues does not help as you can see people have been complaining about the same things for years in the forums, this list could go on for days. Coursera should be refunding those of us that have wasted our money on it. I would advise anyone DO NOT take this course and go and learn it all somewhere else instead, much better quality content is available elsewhere for FREE. Also, most of the other students seem to be submitting nonsense and hope that their fellow fraudulent students get given their submissions to mark and they give each other 100% without having done any of the work. Coursera obviously haven't done anything to try and curtail this as it's been going on for a long time, and as anybody can get the certificates this way, it makes them completely worthless for those of us that have invested time and money in it.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Doing the coding to make the website is a good way to learn and improve your react - no thanks to the course. The piecemeal way they give out the assignment makes it hard to make a cohesive plan or organization for the development. Not to mention that there are vital files that are simply missing. For example, there's a file you're supposed to use to simulate an API connection, and it's no longer available at the link listed. There are months and months of posts in the forum asking for help because they can't get the file, and the instructors obviously do not care. If you haven't started the Meta Front-End Developer Course yet, DON'T. There are much better free react courses out there, and if you really want to get good at it, you'll still need one after you finish this.

It's not clear what is expected from the student, it's not clear which wireframes we are supposed to start working from. The style guide is provided as a static image file instead of figma file. This course is so much worse than the others and it kind of ruins the entire certificate, since it makes one of the most important parts, recapping and applying what you learned, so frustrating.

Material was disjointed. Project referred to use files in the final project that did not exist. It is better to try to learn the material on your own.
