    About the Course

In this course, you will learn what a systems engineer does. Following the conceptual foundations from The Need for Systems Engineering, you
will perform requirements analysis and functional analysis on engineering programs. You will learn how to perform a trade study using a
methodical, quantitative approach that is universal in application. This course also covers preparing design reviews, focusing on coordinating
the inputs of multiple engineering disciplines into a cohesive description of the design approach. This course can be taken for academic credit
as part of CU Boulder’s Master of Engineering in Engineering Management (ME-EM) degree offered on the Coursera platform...

great course on system engineering. the fact that instructor is a veteran, and F-18 pilot and a systems engineer so you get best of both worlds. You hear bpth perspective from operational and engineering point of view

I've enjoyed this course and took a lot of value from it. I am thankful to William for composing it. There are two reasons why I'm giving 4/5 stars: 1) the key takeaway quizzes seem a bit too easy; sometimes it's way too obvious which the correct answers are, the joke answers are funny, but they don't actually test my knowledge. 2) The course is heavy on reading. Different people have different learning styles and reading theoretical text without clear examples of application of that theory feels like torture to me. I have resorted to using ChatGPT to test my knowledge on examples and the Coursera AI coach to prepare for the quiz. If we had more interaction with the course contents, I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one to appreciate that. I genuinely take the course to learn, not to just get a certificate. Anyway, thank you, William, I really appreciate your work!
