About the Course

Management consultants are paid well because they help executives to break down complex problems, make difficult decisions, and implement lasting change. Consultants know how to work smart and fast. Companies like McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, EY, PWC, KPMG, and Accenture have trained thousands of consultants on useful skills, tools, methodologies. Taught by an ex-consultant from Deloitte, John Kim will give you a quick introduction to management consulting: • What do management consultants do? • What are the benefits of a consulting career? • How can you learn these consulting skills? • Why do clients hire management consultants? • What is an example of a consulting skill? This is the first course in the specialization on management consulting....

I learnt a lot from the course about management consulting. As an aspiring consultant, I hope to put into practice all that I have learnt in the course. Thank you very much for the knowledge sharing.

Expertly curated and delivered. Genuinely interesting with lots of personal anecdotes and regular recaps of key points. Designed to be relevant to all levels of experience. Brilliant course.

The course is a little light on the details although, that might be intentional. The most disappointing aspect of the course are the quizzes which are poorly worded and the options are not clear either. The final assignment is pretty great though.

Not enough solid content on how to do problem solving. I was expecting more structure, such as an implementable framework for assessing the client's needs. The course seemed more like an encouragement to try consulting, rather than a guide for how to do it well.
