Minor technical glitches on Coursera's end. i.e., instructional videos often stopped before end of presentation. Had to go to Notes to restart many videos from cutoff point.

Throughout the course, I gained a deep understanding of prompt engineering techniques enabling me to optimize the interactions and outputs generated by any language model. This was a nice overview of the different prompt patterns one can use in a Large Language Model/Generative AI like ChatGPT or Bing Copilot. The exercises were practical and helped ground the lecture/readings. I also really appreciate the availability of text transcripts of the lectures because I don't always have time to sit through a video (even at 2x playback speed), but I can always skim through text.

This course is everything I hoped it would be and so much more. When Chat-GPT was released last year, I was hesitant to dive into it. I resisted exploring the tool. I saw it as a knock-off of the real thing: Human creativity. I didn't know that Chat-GPT was the quiet side-kick my creative process needed. This course has opened my eyes to the infinite possibilities that await me and my creative muse.

This excellent course is well constructed and provides a logical approach to prompt engineering. The lecturer is excellent, explains the rationale for the various patterns, and gives examples of how and why one should use them. The modules were presented with just the right amount of content to digest in a sitting and built on each other so the final more complex concepts were quite manageable.
