It gets through all the basics, but it's hard to actually get practice inside of the terminal for the labs. I think that there should be things done outside of the terminal on coursera and on your personal machine. Also, could have covered merge conflicts better.

Ok to learn about this course, yet I haven't worked on any project with other developers a lot.

From this course, although it felt like unrealistic to learn this, also it will be helpful to googling and grab things which I need to use for a project.

A well-organized and paced course. This course can be improved by having more visualizations for the Git part. For absolute beginners, the lack of imagination about repositories and branches when typing the commands can be a hard start.

It would have been a five stars because the labs were potentially so good. However, as I've probably already mentioned in other comments, students were not able to finish the forking lab because the class repo was not available.

I completed the Version Control Course, and it exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the moment I enrolled, I was impressed with the course structure, content quality, and overall learning experience.

A little too brief. With zero prior experience, I've got decent basic understanding, but do not feel confident enough. More videos of, for example, how to work with reposotory of 3+ files would be awsome.

This course is very good. But it is a bit easy. I hope it will go deeper in merge conflict and resolve some problems when using Git. Anyway, thank you very much for making this course so easy to follow.

Their were hyperlinks that weren't active and lead to a 404 error. Had to use github help to have forking practice. Other than that the course was very informative and I look forward to practing more.

It's certainly not bad and is a good introduction to version control but that's all it is, an introduction. You still have so much more to learn even after this course, but its an alright foundation.

Some of the instructions were not very clear and the videos were really hard to follow because there were too much of new information to take in and we couldn't even think about it.

It is introductory course, but it shouldn't be so easy. Laboratories and quizes can be done within 5 minutes although it says you need 1h. You should make those more difficult

it's a great course, i really enjoy it. although on the labs the repo provided did not work, it wasnt a big deal i just used my own but this prevent me from practice forking.

It had a great walkthrough of the software development and version control workflow, although the bash section of the course was not up to par and has room for improvement.

The course was mostly really good however there were a couple of outdated links that made completing the final leg of the course a bit challenging. Really great otherwise!

Great, but ultimately incomplete information; not everything that was taught was explained. The teaching style felt out of order to me; demonstration before instruction.

Not everything is covered. most are present in additional resource section. So please go through from your end more and work more on related topics from your end.

A good, well-paced, and thorough course. The course is beginner friendly and the instructors were great. But not enough hands-on practice in my personal opinion.

It was helpful to understand version control in the practice lab. The link to the practice lab session was expired, so it took time to complete the tasks.

Overall, the course was good. However, I felt it could have provided much more detail for those working with Git bash and GitHub for the very first time.
