I was initially skeptical about taking an online course, but this experience has exceeded my expectations. The lessons were well-structured, and the instructor was very responsive and supportive.

This is a very good course. Short, simple buy extremely helpful. I thank the instructor and Coursera for this wonderful course. I recommend this course to my friends and colleagues immediately.

Very disappointing. Started "Build a Full Website around a Blog using WordPress" and after I selected "Add a New Site" on my existing WordPress account, it did not come up with the Add A New Site or Select an Existing Site page. Therefore, I was unable to continue and could not get help. I tried to Unenroll from the course, but the instructions for that didn't work either. I tried re-starting the course 10 times and got the same result.

Very basic. This course is mostly rewriting the template. 80% plus time was spent changing the text in the WordPress template. The instructor knows what to do but doesn't explain the reason for doing it. Two hours of LinkedIn learning video teaches way more in-depth knowledge about WordPress. But I got a certificate (that's good!).

Completely do not understand how to use the cloud box to ogring up wordpress site. I bring up wordpress site on independant page is nothing like on the instruction page. I am defeated. It is supposed to be easy. You can;t do it if you don;t know how and I could find nothing to help. I'm done and moving on.

The course content needs to be updated, considering this is a guided project. The version of the WordPress available today is highly different than the one shown in this project. If you have certain experience working with WordPress before, you might be able to relate to the techniques used here.

Wordpress has already updated its page and it is not like in the video, they should update the explanation of the course because it is not much use if it is with an old version of the current page, although it is quite good, more or less I can guess what it is or where everything is there.

not easy to learn - cannot find videos alike some other courses. It is important to make easier formats for students to move around with ease as we are students only and to go at a slower pace as well. Thanks.
very very unhappy with the course.

This information is available FOC by visiting Wordpress.com. This was content I knew already but felt this would be more in depth, no actual "Build your own website" takes place, it's already enabled with content in place to simply edit.

Absolutely terrible experience. Extremely confused instructor. She literally created extra pages and added it to the Menu without teaching that part to us. This class was very very very bad. I did not learn anything useful.

The course is outdated, and somewhat hard to follow since all of the navigation and buttons are in different places. Also, the external tool runs very poorly, especially with WordPress, running at about 10 FPS.

Requires a paid subscription to Wordpress as well as a domain name, which may or may not be free.
LinkedIn Learning somehow manages to teach courses on Wordpress w/o making people pay for a Wordpress plan.

It seems to be a few problems with the project, problems that a lot of people have. However no reply from the instrutor or Coursera. Keep your money folks! Or just go for another project.

It should be mentioned in the project description that the paid version of WordPress that is Wordpress.com is used here, not the free one (wordpress.org).

The video is way too outdated and that makes it extremely difficult to follow along and learn. Especially since wordpress changed their layout completely

Wordpress.com appears to have updated their website so I could not follow the instructors guided lesson. Worst part is, it's a non-refundable course!

Garbage. Completely non-working environment that does not match the course description. No options for help or troubleshooting. Zero value.

The Wordpress site that I was on was completely different than the one in the guided project. I had trouble following along.

sucks, cannot access part of it and apparently I have to pay to take it even though it says it is a free class

Have to pay for a domain name which is fine but you must inform the user prior to signing up. Seems sketchy.

THIS COURSE IS OUTDATED. It follows an old version of WordPress, so it was impossible to follow.
