I very much liked the course. The videos and readings were not too long and were indeed engaging. I appreciate offering it as I am trying to expand my learning and help my candidacy for job opportunities as well as learning personally. If Google and Coursera could offer classes related to financial management similar to CFP or CMA with a certificate would be absolutely wonderful. with CFP even if we go through the course, if we are not working at investment companies, we cannot earn or receive the degree. As is name suggests, the course is a foundation course. Clear, concise and well delivered program. Assignments and Quiz cannot be taken causally and they test your understanding of the subject. People who are currently project and program managers at Google, share their career journey and aspects of project management which they apply to both professional and personal life was an important take away for me from this course. I'm really impressed with the diversity which all these people bring to the table and add value to Google family.

In this course, I learned what project management is along with the role and value of a project manager, the project life cycle and the tasks to manage a project from start to finish. Learned about different project management methodologies and tips for choosing the right method for any project. Also learned about how creating simple team connections can lead to a successful project outcome and how organizational structure and culture can impact the project.

At this point I would like to gain a deeper understanding of the different phases of project management. As I progressed through this course I have realized that many aspects of my previous jobs would have gone more smoothly had I had this type of training earlier. I am more interested in project management without taking on a leadership role when undergoing change within an organization. I have had such a negative experience with this in the past that I would prefer to support someone else in that role rather than manage the changes.

I must say that cousera has added a fresh dimension to my academic life and zest for same. Studying this course injected into me a new zeal towards pursuing project management courses and I am now daring to go for PMP CAPM etc! I feared these courses before but the study of this course, even though due a number of complexities like power outage challenges in Nigeria and harsh conditions of living, I couldn't finish the other levels of the course before it closed down on me!

I am pleased with the knowledge gained from the Google Project Management course, as it has reinforced my understanding that I have been applying project management principles throughout my daily life. The course has empowered me to confidently take on responsibilities as a project manager, whether working on complex projects as a beginner or leveraging expertise in a specific field. While I recognize that my capabilities may be more limited in certain industries, I feel well-prepared to manage projects within my areas of expertise.

I think this course provides a very good understanding of the basics of project management. It was easy to follow the videos and other materials. Although I did not formally work in a project management role, after going through these videos in this course, it made me understand that my previous roles were, in fact, project management roles. I was doubtful that it would be an easy journey for me toward project management. But after taking this course, I am now more confident. Looking forward to the next course in this certification.

São aulas bem gerais, passam rapidamente pelo assunto, mas é muito interessante saber sobre o modelo do gerenciamento. As provas são muito bem elaboradas, mas é possível terminar esse curso em 1 semana tranquilamente, as aulas são curtas e os exercícios são rápidos. These are very general classes, they quickly cover the subject, but it is very interesting to know about the management model. The tests are very well designed, but it is possible to finish this course in 1 week easily, the classes are short and the exercises are quick.

This course is really incredible and one of the topics that I liked the most was the following and I believe that it is what can make a big change in many companies, the importance of organizational culture. The culture of an organization defines its identity. Its identity essentially describes how the company conducts its business, both internally and externally. A company's values and organizational culture go hand in hand; its values are part of its identity. You can almost think of an organization's culture as its personality.

Really fantastic first course. Although I have quite a bit of project management experience, there were modules and clarifications that better informed me of what a career in Project Management really entails. The content was engaging and informative. There wasn't a video or reading that I thought to myself "Why am I reading/watching this?" I can see that this course would be tremendously beneficial for someone just getting into Project Management, but also beneficial to folks that have some experience in the field (like me).

The course has strengthened my job search. Its making my foundation stronger to be a Project Manager. The videos are amazing and the examples are very relatable. Having the glossary also helped a lot as I would have to prepare it myself. Foundations in Project Management is a great course for someone learning to understand the basics of project management. This course offers a good overview of project management methodologies, skills that a project manager should have or develop, and how project management fits into the larger framework of various organizational structures. It is certainly a "beginner" level course but one that could also be a good review for more seasoned project managers for whom their formal PjM education occurred some time in the past.

I really enjoyed this course. Since it is a 'Foundations' class, it provides a high level overview of project management, without too much unnecessary industry jargon or lingo. I appreciate that the course does an excellent job stating and reinforcing the critical aspects of project management on an introductory basis. The designers of this class should be commended for putting together an excellent course - this Foundations class clearly lays the groundwork for future and more in-depth topics on project management.

A well-done course. I like that this introductory course laid the foundation of what project management is all about that has less to do with the hard skills like responsibility matrices, budgets, and deliveralbles. But instead, it makes it crystal clear that success in project management has so much to do with the flawless execution of the soft skills like effective communication, interpersonal skills, and team collaboration. I feel like it delivered a well-rounded perspective on project management at a 10K ft view.

for a beginner its like heaven, This course teaches you like a teacher not forcing anything and all it needs a little consideration and consistency to be regular and its a piece of cake. It teaches you all the skills that you will need in life to live a balanced life and disciplined one. This was a great course! I tried the PMI course first, but they assume you have a lot of knowledge in the project management industry. There were a lot of things that I did not know, and I felt overwhelmed. This course started off with the basics and boosted my confidence. I loved the clarity of the speakers, the real world examples, and the articles added for continued knowledge. I will continue with all 6 of these courses and any more like this. Thank you for putting this together, you guys did a fantastic job!
