Let me try anyway, the flow of the course is simple and generic to attract a fresh graduate and yet at the same time it is specific and has some in-depth content to stun an experienced professional. I'm delighted to have this course offered by Google through Coursera. I found out about it through the course. near me. I appreciate the format and set up of the course. The videos are very well done. who take the course and we get to view and hear their interaction. I'm extremely interested in project management course and you won't find a better way of learning . A helpful aspect is that you can save notes, repeat parts of the videos, and you have written text to follow if you like along with the videos'.

As a newcomer to the Project Management world, I really enjoyed and appreciated all of the conributing instructers experiences. I realized that being a PM is essentially what we all have been doing within our daily lives, on our jobs, in school ect... I was blown away at the fact that Google gave many of their employees who have done teaching videos the opportunity to be a part of the Project Management team minus college degrees. It's truly inspiring and helped me to engage more intensly into the course.

I am really greatfull for this course. I can't imagine how much work was invested in this project. The biggest advantages:

all information divided in blocks;

all terms are explained in a proper and clear manner;

it is great that there are different ways of presenting information - video/text/case/quiz;

Additionaly, thank you for not using overcomplicated explanations. It is not help when you are a foreigner and trying to get the essential knowledge, but spending all your time on veryfing "fancy" words instead.

It's a great tool for complete beginners in Project Management. Although I had formal education in management and special classes in PM, it was good to revise everything and to listen to things I haven't picked up during my studies.

Extremely valuable was the insight into the day-to-day job of project manager and the career stories of Google employees. Some aspects of the course were also though provoking and I appreciate it very much. Now time for Course no. 2! Wish me luck and give it a try! It's worth it!

What a fantastic course! There is a lot of content, but it still manages to be accessible. I honestly think this is accessible enough that some sharp elementary school kids could get something out of it. Yet there is enough content that you can really get more if you want to dive deeper, either by getting into more detail in the readings or using the material as a springboard to do additional research. I'm really glad I found this and I'll certainly be taking the remaining 5 courses for the certificate.

It has been a wonderful and informative month since I started the foundations of project management module a month ago. It has provided me with new concepts in project management such as the methodologies of project management and organisational culture. It has also come across already existing concepts and aspects but presented them in a more organised and professional way.

I am looking forward to continuing the five remaining modules if my financial aid request is approved.

I thought this foundational course was a great introduction to Project Management. I learned about the roles and responsibilities of a project manager, the project life cycle, different project management methodologies, organizational structure, and change management. I liked how the course incorporated various learning modalities with videos, readings, graphics, quizzes, discussions, and end-of-module assessments. I felt like all of these helped me to learn what I needed to and be successful.

I really enjoyed this course! I think Google makes the best courses ever!

How the topics are divided is very good, very small portion so it made it easier for me to not get bored :) Also the little tests every now and then are very easy yet very good to keep me focused. The interactive exercises were absolutely my favorite! Very enjoyable course, and the instructor is defiantly excellent.

For a beginner like me who has almost zero knowledge in project management, this is where you have to start.

A great foundation course for anyone interested in learning project management skills and knowledge. I especially like the interesting videos, quizzes, and interactive activities that keep me from getting bored throughout the course. Recommended for everyone because project management is a lifelong skill where I learned how to deal with any change that occurs or problems that occur. The course clarifies foundational concepts of Project Management and the factors and skills that facilitate successful execution of Project Management.. and the interplay of roles, culture, expectations and techniques that must be measured and balanced against each other in the pursuit if successful project execution.

This is an amazing course! I gained an insightful knowledge about the foundations of project management ( incl project life cycles, project approaches and role and responsiblity of project manager, organizational structure , and change management.) With lots of quizzes and in-practice questions during each video, I felt interacted throughout the whole lesson. Fantastic first class; I found it to be a solid intro to PM. The content's "bite-sized" format makes it easily digestible and comprehensible. Emilio is a great instructor who communicates the content clearly and in an easy-to-understand way (even for non-native speakers). He made the course engaging by striking a good balance between fun and serious elements. Great resource for any one venturing into Project Management, Product Management. Google and Coursea organized the topic in a fantastic way. Glad to have participated in the course. Real world experiences of Program Managers is huge Plus. Very motivating and i enjoyed the instructors way of communication and his amazing energy and excitement to impart this knowledge to the participants will leave you a memorable impression of training and over all experience of going through this course.

The course was great! However, I think it would benefit from some peer-reviewed written exercises to deepen learning and to get us, students, to think critically from the very start where the fundamentals are discussed. Multiple choice quizzes are great, but they can be too easy sometimes. Nevertheless, the course covered the basics and made me understand the role better, and motivated me to study it further. I would also love to see a video about project governance alongside the reading.

Fantastic course in the fundamentals! I really enjoyed hearing from a variety of project and program managers at Google, learning about their journeys, getting introduced to the basic/core project management life cycle steps and all that can affect that lifecycle. Additionally, I feel that learning about organizational culture and how project managers need to understand that culture well to deliver a successful project is vitally important.

I had wanted to receive this kind of instruction all my life. The course is enjoyable, concrete, practical and intelligently crafted. The videos, the readings and the material of the course, are the constructive blocks to show the world what it means to live the profession of project management, including from the first day.

This was a well-put-together course. I have learned so much in 2 weeks and have been studying. I cannot wait to finish the other courses connected to this. Seriously I want to be a great Project Manager and am happy that this was the first thing I learned from. This was very interactive and held tons of info, happy about the glossary at the end of the course. I also like how they build on each other, although I am starting the second course they are using what we learned from the first.
