I started this course with very little knowledge of Information Technology as a career field. I feel that completing this course has given me a solid foundation regarding what the field is about, as well as providing me with the fundamental knowledge to get my education started.

I realized how important Technical Support is all about. We live in an IT world now, so we must keep up with some basic IT knowledge. And i believed there are still lot more to come. So i we must physically and mentally prepare for all these IT generation coming our way of life.

By the end of this course you will understand the foundation of a IT SPECIALIST. You will have more knowledge or learn something you though u would never understand, like the OP systems of your machine , networking , software and you will have a greater in site of the IT field.

This is my first time doing a Coursera Online Course and I thouroughly enjoyed it! I've had about 15 years of experience but I'm so glad I can now also have certification for my knowledge. I'm looking forward to earning more certification in the future to help elevate my career!

Extremely helpful course if you want to learn the basics of IT and how computers work to interact with each other. If you are looking to jump into the IT field, I highly recommend this course to use a start and from there you can find out what field of IT you may want to pursue.

It works for people who have knowledge on the IT field because this course is very updated, you can review all that you learned with this course. It also works for people who don't have an idea of what IT is. If you want to dive into the tech field, you need to take this course!

I feel like this course really taught me some great fundamentals. A lot of times, you see courses like this, but they're very bare bones, and leave a lot of information untouched. I don't see this course this way. I'm really looking forward to the next modules in the course.

This course changed my mind about what I thought was possible. As I progressed in this course I realized how closely related my current job is to this one the biggest difference being that sales are not a part of it. I cannot wait to apply this knowledge and start my job search.

I really recommend this course who think that they know about everything about tech fundamentals(as me :)) but believe me, there are a lot of things that you don't know, but no need to worry because this awesome course will explain everything that u need to know. Thanks, Google!

Even if you know some of the topics beforehand, this course is a great refresher for those pursuing IT, and an even better starting point for people who have only begun to interact with computers. Its both easy to learn, flexible around your work schedule, and quick to complete.

For a beginners course there was a lot of context to go through, but with the help of taking notes and able to re-watch videos I understood it. I think it was a great introductory course for the IT field, I would and have recommended this course to others that may be interested.

I enjoyed this class very much. My mind is blown by IPv4 and the implementation of IPv6.

Only thing I would like to point out and it not a con just a suggestion. Think about having a list of terms and acronyms. That part got a little confusing for me, luckily I took great notes.

Before now, i never knew that at point in my life, i could know all these this course has thought me today. Most of all, the practical expect so amazing. The course "Technical Support" its a great course. And the way its being thought is an experience i will forgot in a hurry.

The IT Support Professional Certification course is great for beginners and works as a refresher for those in the IT field as well. Each course is engaging and dynamic. The instructors take complex concepts and introduce them in a clear and easy way to understand. Great course.

I totally enjoyed this course and I greatly recommend it to people who wants to jump start their career in the IT field with zero knowledge. I highly recommend this with people who has prior experience in the IT or people who are returning to the IT area and need a freshener.

Great overview of IT! The videos helped a lot with absorbing the information. I had to update the OS on my macbook pro to complete the labs so the practical application of the information was a bonus. Explanations were clear and detailed. Looking forward to the next course.

this a great course i just wish i knew what to do next. should i take more courses is there a mentor i can talk to. that would actually be a great idea once someone passes all the classes ther should be a mentor to help guide and help with real world application like job market

Great introductory lessons for anyone, It doesn't matter where you come from, this course will put your feet on a comfortable environment to learn the basics before stepping into a pool of content IT related. I would recommend this to anyone as the best foundation for beginners

Foundation to everything is the most important aspect of getting through anything in Life, making my foundation strong has been my greatest challenge but Google and Coursera have made it no more a challenge by providing me the right materials and knowledge through this course.

As a beginner in the IT industry I really appreciate the opportunity to learn in this course. I've come across this course at the website of the non-profit organization Czechitas, which focuses on helping women to improve their IT skills and start a careers here in my country.

A great intro into the world of IT and Support, This is best for those who are interested in IT but who don't have much (if any) formal IT education or hands-on experience. I PROMISE, however, that there are very nice bits of new information in here, even for an IT enthusiast.
