Absolutely loved this first course! This is my first time going back to school in over 20 years and it's been great getting a deeper knowledge of how computers and the internet work. I'm also pleased to realize that there are still 4 more courses which will dive deeper into the details of computer science.

Very well designed IT learning experience. Everything that is expected from this course is very well explained. I couldn't have continued with this program if it was not setup like it is. Im very satisfied with my current results and knowledge I gained so far from this course. Thank you everyone at coursera.

I was particularly impressed with the instructors and how they delivered the lessons, making it easy to understand key concepts. I also enjoyed the interactivity which made me gauge how much information i had retained at any level. This course is highly recommended for anyone who wants to enter the IT field.

The course materials are breaking down as simple that someone who has never seen a computer can understand. The test question is very utilizing it makes you have a recap of the whole study lesson. The discussion area gives you an opportunity to see people's views and the challenges they face while studying.

Course was written for people with almost no basic information or education about technology. I found it to be extremely easy to understand and have 0 doubts that this program will help jumpstart the careers of underprivileged people the world over that don't have access to resources to educate themselves.

Very good introductory course. A lot of insight into Hardwares and Softwares. But I still have not learned how to fix my zapping email screen pages. It is hard to get live or immediate response from teachers. I wish there were more Qwiklab assignments to troubleshoot daily PC issues at home in daily life.

Great learning experience! I enjoyed every content of the course. They're all new to me still I could understand everything and carried on till the end of the 1st course. Thanks to all instructors that explained very well, slowly and with relaxing atmosphere that makes me feel comfortable along this course.

I loved this course! I learned a lot. It was helpful that I could pace myself. As a teacher, some weeks are busier than others. I fell behind a couple of times, but I was able to quickly catch up during breaks or weekends. I can think of many ways this course will help me personally and as an educator.

Great "101" for IT, computer hardware, software, internet & world wide web fundamentals!

Got to also "build" a computer with the instructor by watching him assemble the components and then completed a quiz, using drag-and-drop interface, to assemble the components myself.

Worth the time and effort and money.

Very warm educators, well explained concepts, good supplemental knowledge provided. Thought provoking content, quizzes aren't too difficult but you still have to pay attention to the content. Promotes open book examination so it's completely fine to stop and look up information when needed. Onto the next!

Brilliant course with great pacing. Some of the advice regarding CV's is aimed at the US, and some of the problems aren't very relatable outside of the US either. One example there is the documentation of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. In the UK, we don't have those.

Otherwise, a very enjoyable course.

It's so inspiring to learn the google technical support fundamentals lecture on Coursera.org. During this pandemic period, I really wanna learn something to enrich my knowledge on the I.T industry. I really think that it's worth to spend the time on this lecture no matter what you want to do in the future.

This served as a very good overall introduction to computers and information technology. I really enjoyed the ability to use virtual labs to get some practice in particular areas. I also think that the customer support lessons were very valuable in contextualizing some real world scenarios in IT support.

This course grabs the essentials and gives a solid foundation to work with. I'm not going to lie to you, learning IT depending on where you go can be boring. This beginner course gives you just the right amount of hands on to peak your interest to further your learning. Give it a shot, you won't regret it.

I really enjoyed this course. This course was clear and concise, and I was able to finish this certificate within a month. I found it fairly easy, and really enjoyed being able to retake quizzes so I could better understand the material. I just hope that it will prepare me for an entry-level job somewhere.

The course was great for someone like me who is just getting started in IT, I've been in banking and finance for a long time and I am looking to change careers so i thought about computers but didn't know where to start. I found Google IT tech support and it's helping me to get one step closer to my goal.

I really enjoyed this course, at times it got a little boring but that's not because of the information but due to my previous IT experience and already knowing some of the material ahead of time. Overall I give it 5 stars and definitely recommend it to anyone new to the field or even needing a refresher!

Great course to understand the fundamentals. I thought I was going to pass it 100% without having to watch most of the videos. Lucky me I watched the video's and it was still tuff completing quizzes at the end. A lot to learn about even if you are moderate at a computer user. Great course would recommend.

This was amazing. This course gave me the foundation of confidence to jump careers and now i work at an MSP!!! I wish i could thank all the people at google that made this course. This course demonstrated to me areas I needed refining in my use of terminology and understanding of definitions, although I have been in IT Support for 12 years, this course helped smooth out the rough edges in my knowledge. I truly have enjoyed this course and I am looking to pursuing further training.

A great course, wonderful presenters and terrific content. I took this course as part of the Google Professional IT Support Certificate course, it gives you a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of IT support. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this course to anyone thinking of moving into the field.

The contents were very well structured. Provides a very good introduction to the IT field. Learnt new information about each of the topics - Hardware, Software, OS, Networking & Troubleshooting with relevant examples. Also, a good few tips on how to prepare for an interview at the end was very beneficial.

I enjoyed being able to work at my own pace. When it comes to the layout of the course, and how the instructors explained the material it was great and easy to follow along. Plus the little pop-up quiz in the videos was helpful and allowed me to test my ability to understand the material before moving on.

I'm completely new to IT, and never thought I would be able to learn this content. I have been cruising through everything with at least a 90% on everything. I love being able to learn from my mistakes on questions, and seeing why I received the wrong answer and being able to try again for a better grade.
